The Green Bay Packers are an American football team based in Green Bay, Wisconsin. They are members of the North Division of the National Football Conference (NFC) in the National Football League (NFL) and are the third-oldest franchise in the NFL.

Starting with the 1992 season, the Packers had 13 non-losing seasons in a row (their worst record being 8/8 in 1999), two Super Bowl appearances, and 1 Super Bowl win (Super Bowl XXXI). The Packers’ 13 consecutive non losing seasons was an active NFL record until the team finally suffered a losing campaign in 2005. They returned to playoff form with winning campaigns in 2007 (13-three), reaching the NFC Championship game and 2009 (11-five) under existing head coach Mike McCarthy.
The Green Bay Packers were founded on August 11, 1919[four] by former high-school football rivals Earl “Curly” Lambeau and George Whitney Calhoun. Lambeau solicited funds for uniforms from his employer, the Indian Packing Organization. He was given for uniforms and equipment, on the condition that the team be named for its sponsor. Today “Green Bay Packers” is the oldest team-name nonetheless in use in the NFL, both by its nickname and by virtue of remaining in its original city.
On August 27, 1921, the Packers were granted a franchise in the new national pro football league that had been formed the previous year. A ton of people have been hitting the site in search of Green Bay Packers Super Bowl Ring Foam Hats. I’ve been searching the internet for them myself and can’t come up with anything so far.
If anybody finds an online source for them, let us know. I’m thinking that it’s something you can only get locally right now. I hope that’s not the case!
Oh and how bout those Packers?!?!? Aaron Rodgers was able to spread the passes around and Randall Cobb scored two touchdowns off what he later described as “Both of my touchdowns were mess-ups..Fortunately, we made something happen out of them.”
