There are still those of us that chose to pursure Greatness. There are others who fall into societies trap but there are the few and the strong that will endure and pursue ultimate victory.
I wish I could have lived in this era. To see such ppl live every aspect of their life through a strive for excellence. It is something that is so nonexistent these days that you have YouTube Lombardi speeches to see what it looks like. Each generation after the next is less wise and falling farther and farther from what this is all about.
when i think of the greatest coaches of all time.. in all sports.. i think of only TWO men, John Wooden: one of the greatest human beings to ever walk this earth.. and the legend on this awesome video, Vince Lombardi; another one of humanities most cherished spectacles, because he not only taught some of the greatest teachings in football, but like John Wooden, he taught us all the most important aspects of success in LIFE!

this is the best pro football coach in the world. the others coaches sometimes just say things like this to be recognized this guy meant it. (other coaches as in little league highschool and even college and pro this man was a real coach.

Unlike almost everyone else, Vince Lombardi did not mess around. There was no jive-rap-hip/hop-low/class-hoodlum aspect; there was the opposite. Yes, football teams still win but the bar is now at a third-grade level. All the lifting, the legal and illegal substances, the so-called modern complexities are nothing compared to what one man did–Lombardi.
